Snakes aren't a fan of St. Patrick's Day...
But lucky for you, I am a fan. We were stepping our way through the fantastic fungus forms of the mushroom folk and had almost made it to the end. But, giving the impending celebration of all things Irish, I thought I'd take a brief pause to include the creatures St. Patrick famously drove out (as the legend goes). Here are a variety of snake clay figures.
First, a terrifying Frostgulch Wurn. Ravaging the cold tundra, you're not safe when the snow starts to rumble.
Well, you don't see this every day. A rare, Clattering Ground Wurm has emerged from its burrow. I managed to get it from two angles.
Another startling scene. A Grass-shield Mamba is looking rather hungry.Jormungandr, one of Loki's monstrous children and herald of Ragnarök. He's dropped his tail, so things are about to get dicey.
Whew, it's not every day that you survive Norse Armageddon. These next few snakes certainly didn't. First, we have a Shadeform Viper, a phantom with paralysis powers. Next, a Bone Seraph, which is not a true skeletal snake but rather an undead artifice using bones of various creatures to create a serpentine semblance.
Sssssssssssssee you next time.
